Another comic.

I’ve had Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal linked for awhile, but today’s strip was so hilarious I had to post it.

Also, if you enjoy heavier styles of music don’t forget to keep checking my band’s blog, Suspension Of: On Stage & In The Studio. We’re almost done with our debut album. In the words of the immortal Kyle Gass, “It’s some pretty breakthrough shit.”

The Devil Went Down To Claypool.

Everyone from iTunes to YouTube labels this as being performed by Primus. However, technically if you look at the end credits, performance credit is given to “Festus Clamrod and The El Sobrante Twangers,” a group which features Les Claypool on vocals/bass, Larry LaLonde on banjo, and Brian Mantia on drums.

This lineup, which is essentially mid/late-90’s-era Primus, also had Violina Misteriosa on violin, Bryan Kehoe as the Devil, and Mark Haggard on slide guitar and the voice of Johnny.

I think this video is pretty cool, and I’m also a big Primus fan. I do have to say, however, that I prefer the original version by Charlie Daniels.

Another webcomic.

I decided that it’s time to feature another one of my favorite webcomics. It’s called Hark! A Vagrant, a strip written and drawn by Kate Beaton of Nova Scotia, Canada. The comic features historical figures events with hilarious twists.

Observe:

These are just a few of the ones I could fit onto the blog. Most of them are full comic strips with multiple panels, and you can check them out here.

You, you you-ah.

I find this hilarious, and much prefer it to the original.
